The nutrition department provides factual and current
nutrition information to the citizens of Escambia County. A registered
dietician is available to answer general questions or assist with a
special diet prescribed by your doctor.
Cost
Fees for nutrition services are based on a sliding scale.

The Federal Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and
Children (WIC) provides vouchers for free food to use at local grocery stores as
well as nutrition and breastfeeding counseling for Women, Infants and Children
under 5 years old.
WIC Provides:
